Collaborate

As I have promised at my previous post, now I will share with you about collaboration work, especially among Qajoo Artists.

Here is how we create Run Princess Run! graphic arts. What you see on your device looks like this:

But, actually, there were two artists involved in this artwork. They did the drawing parts separately, background and foreground, but in the end it has to make a harmonic picture.

Here at Qajoo, we are well aware that we cannot do things individually if we wanted to achieve great result. There is no such thing as “Single Fighter”. We move together as a team. Yet, as a person, each of us has personal responsibility he or she has to fulfill. Trust is the core key of this collaboration, and it is built by knowing that each of us is doing his or her best. When there is trust, we can do our parts with better focus and get better results.

Of course, it’s not always easy to work collaboratively, because as human beings we still have feelings and needs to be acknowledged (it is not the same as being idealist. When it comes to achieving great result, we are idealists!). If they are not managed well, those feelings and needs may harm team’s collaboration in long term. I’m not telling you that we have to ignore our own feelings or thoughts. When they are there, just admit it in yourself, but don’t stop there. Don’t lose to yourself! Clear your mind, think differently and do something to manage those emotions, because we can always choose and decide what’s right. In the end, it will bring better results for your team and yourself (you will see that you can be a much more mature person than before). Better results bring greater satisfaction, and who doesn’t like it?
